The Awakening of the Lotus

As dedicated members of the Psytrance culture, we feel obliged and eager to keep the flow go and create a show for all of us to enjoy! We invite all of you who share the same passion and values to come and join us for a picnic in nature, trance dance and blast with other like-minded people.

The location has plenty of camping and parking spaces - toilets, sanitizing stations, and clean water. We suggest you - bring your own food, drinks, camping equipment, warm clothes and everything that will make that trance dance extra comfortable and pleasurable.

Location will be revealed to ticket holders only. This is a limited capacity show, so please plan ahead and purchase your presale ticket.

We, all together - should respect the land and must be mindful to leave no trace.

Judge Ming –Vantara Vichitra Records Her adventure from Vancouver maybe is long and exhausting but worry not, she is well experienced and skillful to create an atmosphere to keep us dancing. Judge Ming, emerged in the Scandinavian underground scene, with whom she developed a foresty taste and deep psychedelic vibe. Her return to Vancouver was inevitable. She had sturdy and strong ties over on the west coast that she felt very connected to. Judge Ming as of recently is a new member of the well famous Vantara Vichitra Records. So prepare for small girl BIG sound.

NYX - PsynOpticz Records. Growing up in sunny South Africa, she was initiated in the twilight tribe . . . she knows firsthand why the region birthed such a sound. Stomping her way through Johannesburg’s starry nights, she sought the sun, and as the dawn broke through one morning, NYX was reborn. With a lifelong love kindled, she carried her passion across the long waters to Vancouver, pursuing a better balance of night and light.

Since then, NYX has shared the stage with the likes of Space Tribe, Spectra Sonics, Kabayun, Daksinamurti, Etnica, Menog, Ingrained Instincts, Goa Pete, and many others. An adamant acolyte of the straight 148, NYX may still play coy, soft and sweet, seducing you with soft strings and trippy textures. She may punish with pulsing bass or dazzle with swirling synths, guiding you through till morning with stars in your eyes. Please welcome NYX of the Night.

Wattsun is the new sonic sculpting project of Dan Boulos from Calgary. Dan Boulos aka Wattsun really needs a bio. He keeps saying that he's going to get one done up, but can be a master procrastinator sometimes. When confronted about this Dan says, "You can't rush perfection".... Dan is oftentimes full of BS 😁 So, if we can all gather and share a kind word for Dan, he will be well pleased.

A few things Dan HAS done, is opened for Quanta, Kaminanda, Whitebear, Adham Shaikh, AtYya, Stickybuds, Random Rab, Hedflux, & Grouch. He also has played Astral Harvest, Motion Notion and Inshala Music & Arts Festival several times. So that's pretty neat.

RongoRongo is a visionary and creative individual, who with his creations he delivers an ambience of wonders, marvellous and radiant structures of #TheDiscoCastle. We are very happy to have him decorate our venue in his true and pure creation. Rongo brings the same spirit and passion to his musical endeavours with solid track selection and consistent flow. Groove-oriented sets filled with echoes of distant emotion and hypnotic melodies. He would be presenting deep and atmospheric Psytrance imbued with tribal vibrations and distant cosmic sounds. He aims to spread searching sounds that travel far and beyond reach. These psychedelic rhythms that he spins would inevitably take your mind far away or deep within.

Another local hero to Edmontonians is DJ #Cloudbuster ’s alias, Kyle. His way of Psytrance is more than mere aesthetics, it is the experience, it’s the vibe and it’s the presentation of greater positive energies. Growing up as a teenager, Cloudbuster passion was collecting records from local shops and carefully choosing sounds that touches his inner self. His endless hours spend collecting music, came to an uprise, he has been very much involved at many festivals, shows and local parties. A significant one was his most recent show, he warmed up for Infected Mushrooms at the Starlite Room, where he totally showed what he is capable of, to tear down dance floors and let people enjoy to their fullest.

Mechanical Laughter alias Brandon is a local hero to Edmontonians. His musical knowledge goes way back, originally performing in many Punk bands. His music evolved since attending Motion Notion, back in 2005. Ever since he is a devoted lover of the psychedelic scene. Recently he has been working with Psyblings production and is eager to further promote the Psytrance culture in YEG by hosting many strong and steady events. He is known for bringing a driving, full-on raw style with a positive attitude towards the audience.

Imagine a cyborg alien space pirate sent from the future with a mission to possess the brains of humanity by means of psychedelic music...that is exactly what Mike Panic’s DJ sets sound like. Another local hero to Edmontonians; Mike Panic. His combining mixture of Psytrance and synth-wave topped up with vocal samples – is sure to get us dancing and enjoying. With the dynamic range of music throughout his journey, it’s hard not to anticipate where Mike will take us with his music next. Psyluna! The name behind this project is Hope Serena! Well known for her online marathon Dj sets performances –a dedicated, in-home performer. On this rare occasion, she finally agreed to come out and perform a Dj set for all of us. Psyluna brings a fresh approach to Psytrance, groovy mixes - where we will find ourselves mesmerized by her vibe and continuous well-designed flow.

Toky – Axios Records. A newcomer to the Alberta scene Martin alias Toky. Was born in Macedonia and spent his teenage years hanging with all the psychedelic heavy hitters. Through these childhood connections, it was only a matter of time before he began to spin tunes on cd decks. Being positively inspired by the local music wizards and the vibe in the scene he continued to explore more of this around Europe. Under his belt, he has played at various festivals, squad parties, forest gatherings and indoor clubs in many European cities. He is a proud member of the Axios Records family. Years later he landed in Alberta, where he eagerly aims to promote Psychedelic Trance culture and keep the legacy growing.
